I would like to introduce myself and the company. I have worked in ESE education for over 34 years, with 12 of those years at the district level in Orange County Public Schools. Experience includes knowledge from elementary to high school, traditional and charter schools, understanding of transition, credits, graduation requirements, more restrictive placement, services and accommodations, advocate support, all disability programs, IDEA, Section 504 and much more.​

 

The Key to Success specializes in ESE and Section 504 support and organization at the school level, offering long term or temporary staffing assistance which includes but not limited to paperwork preparation, monitoring of timelines, meeting facilitation, ESE and Gifted student support and/or Speech and Language Services for identified students.​

 

The Key to Success is excited to offer Orton Gillingham tutoring. Our certified and highly trained teachers in OG are able to deliver a very prescriptive, powerful, instructional approach that enables students to build confidence through visual, auditory and kinesthetic lessons. Students of all ages learn critical sound-symbol connections to close the skill gaps in reading and spelling. Orton-Gillingham approach is highly effective for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, but it can also be beneficial for all students who need extra support in reading, writing and spelling.​

Certified Orton Gillingham Intake Specialist

Andrea Wanuck

Andrea received her bachelors degree from Florida State University.  She is a certified teacher in K-6 and ESE. Her certification also includes an ESOL and reading endorsement.  She has 17 years of teaching experience including 13 years of tutoring. Andrea has completed 60 hours of Orton-Gillingham training and is completing her practicum working towards her associate certification with the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Andrea is passionate about working with young children with dyslexia or other learning challenges to help them meet their full potential. 

Fun Facts about Andrea:  Andrea loves the beach, movies and spending time with her family. She is bilingual (Portuguese) and loves to visit her family in Rio. She is a dog lover and has 2 of her own, Charlie and Snoopy. She considers herself to be a foodie and loves to try new recipes and new restaurants.
